This Quinta is situated in one of the most beautiful and enchanting parts of the island of Madeira, exactly in the heart of the parish of Monte. The hotel has been developed from a former Madeiran Quinta about 17.000 square meters of which 5000 comprise formally organized traditional gardens. Quinta do Monte has 38 rooms with private balcony with a superb view of the magnificent gardens, a large fully equipped bathroom, telephone, cable television, mini-bar and air conditioning. The 4 Suites have a bedroom, sitting room, bathroom with Jacuzzi and a spacious balcony. Besides the little streets, Monte was once served by a railway line, which was deactivated in the middle of the 1940’s.
