With a total of 52 rooms the Hotel Thingholt is situated around the corner from Laugavegur, the old city's main artery and shopping street, where Reykjavik is at it's most vibrant. Shops, cultural events, cafés, restaurants, nightlife and the myriad of colourful happenings that only Laugavegur brings out - al around the corner from CenterHotel Thingholt. At Centerhotels guests are treated to a friendly and personalized service and are assured of a serene and restful accommodation in a refined atmosphere.

If guests check-in in the evening/night the front door might be locked but there's a doorbell that should then be rung and there is always someone to open the door since there's 24 hours reception.

Children at the age of 0-6 years stay for free when sharing a DeLuxe room with parents. Children at the age of 7-12 years get 50% discount when sharing a DeLuxe room with parents.

The Flybus from Keflavik Airport can take you to CenterHotel Thingholts doorstep if you just give them the hotel name, they provide a shuttle to the CenterHotel Thingholt for the price of 1200 ISK per person one way.

A free parking lot is to be found in a couple of minutes walking distance from CenterHotel Thingholt by a street called Skulagata (ask in the reception for more details). There are also a lot of parking spaces and parking garages all around the hotel. There one has to pay parking fees from 10-18 on week days and 10-13 on Saturdays, there are no parking fees on Sundays though.
