In the heart of the medieval, hilltop town of Spoleto, a delightful family run hotel set in a restored 19th century tannery. From the moment you arrive at San Luca, you can see that this hotel is a real labour of love for the Zuccari family. From the family antique pieces in the impressive public rooms, to the flowers used throughout the hotel, all freshly cut from the owner’s garden, the attention to details is clear. All 35 rooms are decorated in a simple elegant style, many with far-reaching views and fantastic bathrooms decorated with Carrara marble. The hotel boasts a lovely fountain courtyard and a pretty garden – the ideal places to enjoy delicious home-made breakfasts or an apéritif before dinner. This hotel is ideally situated to explore Umbria’s many famed towns, and of course, the sights in delightful Spoleto itself.
