Built in the 17th century, this hotel is an Ottoman house set 400 metres from the domes and minarets of the Blue Mosque. Sumptuous burgundy fabrics and dark wood furniture characterize the rooms, which have toiletries and Internet connections. Turkish baths are on offer in the sauna and steam room, both decorated with Turkish tiles in intricate patterns.

Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST): Approximate driving time is 20 minutes and distance is 15 kilometers (9 miles). BW Empire Palace hotel provides specialized airport pick-up service, which is cheaper than any taxi and safer and more comfortable than public transportation. It costs 30 EUR for one direction (per room, not per person). There is a package available, which includes and airport pick-up and an airport drop off for the total price if 50 EUR. To book the airport transfer service, please, advise your flight details. Journey time is approximately 30 minutes. Driving directions: From the airport, turn right from the exit. Take the road named Yesilyurt and proceed for approximately two kilometres. Turn left at Sahilyolu and then left again at the traffic lights towards Sirkeci. Take the next left turn and the hotel is on this road.
